 | Porcelier Hearth 2-Cup Pot with Ceramic Strainer This teapot, designed by Carl Kobler, is in the Hearth pattern produced by Porcelier China in the 1930s and 1940s. It has an embossed decoration on one side that shows a fireplace scene with a chair, rug, cat and a spinning wheel. This pattern is also called Fireplace by some collectors. It is about 8-1/4" high including the ceramic strainer and lid. It holds two cups. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains or crazing. The relief is in excellent condition with no wear and the paint is still nice and fresh. I also have the matching cream and sugar in another listing. | |
