Fitz and Floyd COQ DU VILLAGE Salt & Pepper Shaker
This salt and pepper set is in the colorful Coq du Village rooster pattern. The salt stands 5-1/4" high while the pepper is 5" high. They both have their stoppers and are marked "Fitz and Floyd Classics" on the bottom. Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

Fitz and Floyd COQ DU VILLAGE Sugar & Creamer
This sugar and creamer set is in the colorful Coq du Village rooster pattern. The sugar is about 4-1/2" tall with lid in place while the creamer is 3-3/4" high. Both pieces have 1988 incised on the bottom along with the inked Fitz and Floyd. Unfortunately, the set has several small chips on both pieces, mainly on the tips of the protruding leaves and a couple on the lip of the creamer. This is very common on this pattern because of the uneven outer surface. However, because of this pattern, the chips are not very obvious. I have priced the set for this "as is" condition.

This napkin holder is one of the items from the line put out by Enesco during the 1960's. This line is called Mother in the Kitchen or Prayer Ladies by collectors and is fast becoming collectible. This napkin holder is about 6" high and shows a lady with apron in prayer. The Dinner Prayer is printed on the apron. It has the Enesco label on the bottom. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

The busy little Betsy Ross figure is sitting in her chair sewing the flag. On her left side is a bright red pin cushion and on her right is a tape measure that pulls out. She has the red and silver Enesco sticker on the bottom. There is some fading on the flag as can be seen in the picture but other than that she is in excellent condition. I have reduced her price to reflect that flaw.

This bisque nodder is one of the nodders made by a German company during the 1930's. These nodders represented the popular comic strip and cartoon/comic characters of that time. This nodder is of an unidentified little boy in a white suit, vest and jaunty hat. It is marked Germany on the back. It is a 3-1/4" high. The facial features on this gem are just wonderful. He is in excellent shape and the paint is still in pretty good shape.

It is in excellent condition with the exception of a tiny, tiny chip on the edge of the spoon slot - hardly noticeable. I have reduced the price to reflect this minor flaw.

Rooster And Roses Salt & Pepper Shakers w Long Handles
This pair of salt and pepper shakers is the hand-to-find type with the long handles. They are a lovely example of the type of Japanese-made kitchenware from the 40s and 50s that is so collectible today. This pattern is Rooster and Roses. The shakers measure 2-1/2" high and about 3-3/4" wide, including the handles. They have the appropriate S and P near the holes to designate which is which. They still have their original corks. No marking on the bottoms. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains and no crazing. The only flaw I see is a small glaze skip on the tip of the salt's handle. I have reduced the price to reflect this flaw.

This basket is a lovely example of the type of Japanese-made kitchenware from the 40s and 50s that is becoming so collectible today. This pattern is Rooster and Roses. It is 5" high and has a 2-3/4" by 2-1/4" oval base. It is marked on the bottom with the "Early Provincial Underglaze Handpainted Japan." It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains and no crazing.

This wall pocket (wallpocket) is in the whimsical design called Dainty Miss. It measures 6" high and is about 5" wide at its widest. It is marked on the back with the Geo. Z. Lefton cursive trademark indicating it was made sometime betwen 1950 and 1957. There is no number on the back. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a very tiny chip on the back of one the flowers on the hat It does not show from the front and is barely visible from the back. I have reduced the price to reflect this minor flaw.

However, it has a couple of small scrapes on the black portion of the flowers and the top rim edge is slightly uneven in that it slants slightly to the right - a manufacturing defect and common in these Japanese imports. 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair Thermometer Shaped Like Key
This bronze-like thermometer from the Century of Progress World's Fair of 1933 is 8" long and in the shape of a key. What makes this piece interesting are the various buildings that are embossed on both sides. The top of the thermometer sports an embossed representation of the Travel & Transport Bulding on one side and the Federal Building on the otherside. The Hall of Science is represented on the bottom. A very elaborate and ornate piece to add to your Century of Progress collection. It is in excellent condition with no rust. However, the thermometer does not record the correct temperature.

1933 Chicago Century of Progress Firestone Book
This 32-page 5" x 8" booklet was distributed by the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. at the World's Fair of 1933. In addition to telling the story of their company, there are lots of pictures of their products and factories. The colorful cover shows a birds-eye view of their exhibition building. The book is in excellent condition - completely intact with no tears or missing pages with only a small amount of wear on the cover.

Austrian Carlsbad Victoria Signed Plate - Louis XIV

This 8-3/4" plate is a portrait plate of Louis XIV made by the Austrian porcelain company Victoria Carlsbad. It is signed by De Mond. I would guess the age of the plate from early 1900s. The embossed rim is edged is gold. It is in excellent condition with the exception of the tiniest nick on one spot in the rim. It is so small that it can't be seen and only felt. The gold is still nice and fresh. The underglaze transfer has only a few small spots of wear.

This unmarked 8-1/2" plate is a portrait plate of Queen Alexandria of Great Britain - probably from the early 1900s. She was the wife of King Edward VII who assumed the throne of England in 1901. The plate features a reticulated border with a blue rim. The rim is edged is gold. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains and the gold is still nice and fresh. The underglaze transfer has only a few small spots of wear.

This string holder was made by Babbacombe Pottery of England, probably in the late 1950s or early 1960s. It is a good example of a kitchen item that started out as a utilitarin product but evolved into a decoration and became very popular with collectors It measures about 5-1/2" wide and 5-1/2" long. 1950s Westwood Products Japan Library Spice Rack Windmills
This spice set was made by Westwood Products, probably during the 1950s when these kitsch items were popular. It consists of a wooden rack holding 6 book-shaped spice jars with a windmill motif. The spice jars measure 2-3/4" high, 1" wide and 2" deep. They all have their cork stoppers and the salt, pepper and paprika have the Westwood label on them. All are in excellent shape with no chips, cracks, or stains with the exception of the allspice which has the tiniest of chips on the base rim. Please note the set is missing the ginger, having 2 cinnamons.
