This listing is for an 9" bud vase with rounded foot which I think was made by either Fenton Glass or Vicking in the early 1970s. When held to the light the black shines through as amethyst (purple). It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains.

Paden City Line #411 Black Ebony Tray w Center. Handle
This center-handled sandwich tray was made by Paden City in the 1930s and they gave this blank the line number #411. It is the what Paden City called Black Ebony (no amethyst glow when held to light). It measures 10" wide and 5" tall. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks and only faint scratching in a few places - only seen when held at a certain angle under a bright light. The only flaw to this lovely piece is a tiny, tiny nick in the surface near one of the borders. I have reduced the price to reflect this minor flaw.

This black amethyst vase was made by L. E. Smith sometime from 1930 to 1935 and features a molded design of classical figures around the base. The rim is triangular and scalloped like Smith's Mount Pleasant pattern. It stands about 6-3/4 inches high while the rim is 5" wide at its widest. When held to the light the black shines through as amethyst (purple). It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or staining.

This punch bowl base is in a lovely marigold color. It stands about 5-1/2" high while the top diameter is 4-1/4" and the bottom has a diameter of 5-1/2 inches. I was told by the previous owner that it was a Cambridge near-cut pattern but my research did not confirm that. Any help in identifying this pattern would be appreciated. Although I think that this is a punch bowl base, it can also be used as a vase when turned upside down. It also would make a nice pedestal for a fruit bowl. In fact, I purchased this piece along with the Imperial Twins fruit bowl I am presently listing. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains and it has a very nice coloring.

The exterior of the bowl is in the Beaded Berry pattern which has clumps of berries and leaves encircling the bowl on a thin cable line. The interior is in the lacey Leaf Chain design. This lovely piece of blue milk glass sports the woven panel design made by the Atterbury Glass Company of Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania - probably in the 1890s. The design for a screw socket that connects the base and font of kerosene lamps is one patent for which the firm is famous and this item has this screw socket which leads me to believe that this is a lamp base. It stands 5" tall and is about 4" wide at its widest. It is in excellent condition with no chips, stains, or cracks.

It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the ruby flash is nice and fresh.

On the other side, it says "Samuel Edwards to Aunt Hannah Jones." It is 3-1/2 inches high and has a rim diameter of 3 inches. It has no chips or cracks only a couple of spots where the ruby coloring is worn - hardly noticeable unless you are actually looking for them.

This frosted pitcher is an Early American Pattern Glass piece in the Barberry pattern. It was also known as Pepperberry. Barberry shrub grew along the seashore so that is the reason for the scrolls near the base. My resources indicate that it was probably made in one of the glass factories near Fostoria, Ohio. It stands 8-1/4" high and has a nice ring to it when it is thumped. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

This light custard mug in the beaded shell pattern was made by L. G. Wright Company in the late 1960s. This is part of the grouping made by Wright replicating old Northwoods or Dugan patterns. The mug is 3-3/4" high and is with the underlined W mark on the inside bottom - a mark that is often confused with the underlined N that was Northwoods mark.
