S&I. This 8-1/4" plate (with box) is the 1st in a four plate series, The Children of Mary Cassatt put out by Pickard China.. Cassatt was an important impressionist artist from the early 1900s who is currently being honored with a set of postage stamps. This series was limited to 7500 plates each and this plate is number 1332. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains. I have the other plates in this series. The list of the plates follows. They all are in excellent condition also.
