This shaker on spoon rest is a lovely example of the type of Japanese-made kitchenware from the 40's and 50's that is becoming so collectible today. This pattern is Roosters and Roses and this item was made by PY. The base is 6-1/2" long and it is 4" high when the shaker is on the spoon rest. It is marked on the bottom "PY". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or stain. It has no crazing and the colors are still nice and fresh.
