This open salt stands 1" high and has a top diameter of 1-1/2." It has an attractive gold encrusted design around the interior of the top. It is marked handpainted Nippon on the bottom. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains and the gold is still nice and fresh. I have four of these salts - all in excellent condition - so save on shipping by ordering more than one.
